
What is it about piers and harbour walls that make people forget about common sense? These idiots decided to go on a family fishing trip off the end of Kalk Bay Harbour on a day when False Bay was easily 8 foot big.
Now the harbour wall is pretty tall, don't get me wrong, but when swell is lapping over the top surely that's a sign that you shouldn't be there. Sadly it takes a rogue set to make you realise the error of your ways as they soon found out.
Luckily JB was on hand to capture this shot and he even made the front page of the Cape Argus with one of the other shots, but have no fear folks, they all survived the experience, well except for Oupa's fishing pole and camping chair…
